Freshly squeezed fruit juices are full of vitamins
Drinking vitamin fruit juices, sounds great. Only if it wasn’t for the high content of fruit sugar. Natural juices are rich in vitamins, this is the best – and the familiar news. Not so favorable and less known fact is that they are relatively high in fructose – up to 10%, that according to studies at raised use can contribute to weight gain and the development of cardiovascular diseases.
With consumption of fruit fructose, fiber is always taken in combination with it.. These fibers take care of this to avoid too much sugar in the metabolism and it not to pass rapidly into the bloodstream.
In this sense, the fibers act as a kind of antidote and prevent overdosing of fructose in the body. It is therefore better for a person to take whole fruits instead of being consumed as a juice. Even freshly squeezed juices are not preferred because they have less fiber, but retain all their sugar content. So pure fruit juices are not suitable for quenching the thirst.
Glass of freshly squeezed fruit juice, however, could replace one of the five regular daily vitamin portions. Also diluted with water at a ratio of 1: 3 (1 part juice to 3 parts water), fruit juices can be included as refreshing drinks.
Prepared juices produced by the industrial road and offered on the market, except preservatives and colorings contain too much sugar in the form of high fructose corn syrup and their fruit content is often minimal, sometimes it heavily diluted.
For them, the same rule applies as for different types of coke and lemonade, drink as less as possible! The best existing way to quench the thirst remains water. And to ready products of the food industry one should reaches only as a last resort.
